In the development or redevelopment of projects Mr. Boyd feels there’s an opportunity to improve neighborhoods and the quality of life for those that live there. To achieve these results Mr. Boyd incorporates sound mission planning, market research, refining processes and control systems, and defining target tenant sources. In addition, the entrepreneurial spirit combined with a team of talented people produces a flair of creativity in the architectural elements, marketing materials, innovative marketing strategies and the development of unique theme-oriented communities.
As the Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management for Evergreen Communities, Mr. Boyd has lead the firm’s activities relating to the evaluation, acquisition, development, site planning and zoning approvals of hundreds of residential and commercial units. Mr. Boyd leads the acquisition, asset management, property tax appeals, leasing and disposition of properties with a specialty in multi-family turnaround projects, particularly in urban redevelopment centers in South Florida. Mr. Boyd is involved in urban revitalization, CRT, CRA and various community redevelopment agencies. His relationships with these various agencies, law enforcement, political network, government agencies and developer executives provides for a unique set of resources to bring forth value to each of his projects. As a licensed Florida real estate sales associate, a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Green Building Coalition he keeps in-touch with market trends, development strategies and the environment.
